About Me
- I am the Social Media Manager at Search Mojo. I work with clients to recommend social media best practices for SEO. I also manage client Facebook and LinkedIn Advertising. Prior to being promoted to this position, I was the company’s Social Media Specialist and managed Search Mojo’s social media marketing accounts.I started at Search Mojo, a search engine marketing agency, as a Junior Account Manager managing both SEO (search engine optimization) and PPC (pay per click advertising) client accounts.

- I was a Marketing Communications Intern at the Kennedy Center from September to December 2010. I worked with the Advertising and Marketing departments to compose copy for print, radio, email, and social media outlets. I managed a discount ticket program and supervised the trafficking of advertisements.
International Food Policy Research Institute
- I was a Social Media Intern at IFPRI. I worked with the Communications Division to research best practices for social media and develop a social media strategy.
- I was an usher at Merriweather Post Pavilion during the 2005-2009 summer seasons. I work as a team with other employees to assist patrons and enforce Merriweather policies.

- Public Relations Officer 2009-2010. I sent marketing materials to The Breeze, the school paper, and table tents. I published an informal blog for members with meeting notes and announcements.
- Fundraiser Chair 2008-2009. I set up events and organized participation.
- Historian 2007-2008. I took and gathered pictures and created a scrapbook of all the dance and community service events throughout the year.
Volunteer Work
Alternative Spring Break- March 2008
- Volunteered at the Gesundheit! Institute, a project initiated by Patch Adams to create an affordable health care clinic and hospital. During the trip, I worked at the site taking care of the land and clowning at a nearby hospital.
Hurricane Relief Trips
- June 2006- Participated in a mission trip to Slidell, Louisiana with my youth group from Glen Mar United Methodist Church in the summer of 2006. I worked with a team rehabbing homes and connecting with survivors of the area.
- May 2009- As part of JMU’s Community Service-Learning Alternative May Break, I worked on construction with Habitat for Humanity in the Musician’s Village in New Orleans, Louisiana.
